There are lots of questions you could be worried about, especially if you have never had any plastering work done before. How much will it cost?
Prices can vary depending on the size and complexity of the job. Prices can be from as little as £300 for the re-skim of an average sized living room. We will always come out to view the job and give you a free no-obligation quote.
When can I paint over plaster?
Plaster takes about a week to dry out, and you should not paint it until it is completely dried out. You should be able to tell when it is dry as it will change from a dark to a light colour.
What is the best way to get rid of old aertex?
We recommend plastering over old aertex, this can usually be achieved with a coat of skimming. But in heavy areas a coat of bonding would be applied first, and then skimmed over.
Will you protect my carpets?
We take great care to cover up all of your flooring and any other damageable surfaces. All we ask is that the room be emptied out as much as possible to enable us to work.
When can you start?
We aim to come out and quote you within 48 hours of your initial contact. We can usually start the work within the next week.
